Skin cancer, bowel and colorectal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, gynaecological cancer, prostate and bladder cancer. Also radiotherapy for benign diseases – Dupuytren’s, keloids, HBO, psoriasis and viral warts.

Fees, Training & Background:

Dr John Glees is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist (specialising in radiation therapy and chemotherapy treatments for a whole variety of cancers). He is a  Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists UK (by Examination), MD with Honours and a Thesis on brain tumours. He also holds The Diploma of Medical Radiotherapy, London (DMRT). He has 40 years’ experience in the treatment of cancer.

Dr Glees specialises in the treatment of lung cancer, breast cancer, skin cancer, upper and lower GI cancers (pancreatic, rectal & anal cancer), gynaecological and urological cancers (kidney, bladder and prostate cancer).

He is also very experienced in the treatment of benign conditions (non cancer) such as Dupuytren’s disease, Peyronie’s diseases, psoriasis, viral warts, keloids and plantar fasciitis and painful heel spurs using low dose radiotherapy.

Dr Glees has trained in England, Germany and United States. He gained his first radiotherapy experience in the United States working with Dr Irwin Tepper. In 1971 he returned to the UK. Between 1981- October 2010 he was an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of London. He has published extensively and is an acclaimed conference speaker.

Dr Glees now works privately at the Cancer Centre London where he uses the latest drugs and radiotherapy techniques available. Dr Glees is currently Chairman of the RAD society, an association of UK and Ireland based consultant radiotherapists. The society has regular meetings worldwide to discuss the latest developments in the field of radiotherapy.
